Job Overview
- We are seeking a Product Designer to join our team focusing on the Digital Consumer Travel experience.
- In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of how customers book and manage a diverse range of travel products, including flights, stays, activities, and more.
- You will work in a cross functional team of engineers, product managers, and other designers to turn problems and opportunities into meaningful and impactful experiences.
- This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, business objectives and market trends, and systems knowledge.
Responsibilities
- You will identify and understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points and use this to define opportunities and problem statements that inform the team's work.
- You will lead and support discovery activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover customer needs and validate opportunities.
- You will work in a fast paced team of engineers, product managers, and designers to uncover customer problems and deliver impactful solutions across multiple web and mobile platforms.
- You will consider the business needs, technical constraints, data, and platform requirements in order to produce impactful and valuable solutions.
- You will creatively translate opportunities into elegant, intuitive, and effective experiences that deliver customer and business value.
- You will rapidly and pragmatically produce concepts and prototypes, understanding when further ideation, testing, or changing directions is needed.
- You will run experiments frequently to validate your assumptions and optimize your solutions.
