Role Overview
Java Angular software engineering specialist role focused on client reporting applications and platforms.
The position requires six to eight years of expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Angular, CI/CD, and client reporting applications.
The role is based three days per week from the London office and is permanent, full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain client reporting applications using Java and Angular.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly reporting dashboards and web applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and reporting features.
- Integrate reporting solutions with enterprise databases, external systems, and APIs.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting data models.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, deployment, and release activities.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Support production deployments, incident resolution, and application enhancements.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Candidate Requirements
- Six to eight years of expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Angular, CI/CD, and client reporting applications.
- Strong experience building scalable microservices and modern web applications.
- Experience working in banking and financial services environments.
- Experience with enterprise databases, external systems, APIs, SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting data models.
Workplace and Employment
- The working mode requires three days per week from the London office.
- The position is permanent and full-time.
