Role Description
The role is a Senior Specialist in Quality Engineering focused on Guidewire integration API and PolicyCenter functional testing.
The test lead will lead regression and end-to-end testing across Guidewire applications and connected insurance platforms.
Working Model
- The working model is hybrid with three days working from the office and two remote days.
- Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory office days, and the third office day is flexible on Monday, Thursday, or Friday.
Primary Skills and Experience
- Have 8 years of QA testing experience, including test lead ownership.
- Have 5 years of Guidewire testing experience, preferably including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or Contact Manager.
- Have strong PolicyCenter domain knowledge across personal and/or commercial lines.
- Have functional integration API, regression, end-to-end, UAT, and production validation experience.
- Have experience with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, SQL, Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, and Agile.
- Have experience with P&C commercial and specialty lines products and P&C personal lines products.
Testing Responsibilities
- Lead planning, estimation, execution, defect management, reporting, and release readiness for PolicyCenter initiatives.
- Drive testing across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Contact Manager, and core insurance workflows.
- Validate quote, bind, policy change, renewal, cancellation, billing, claims, documents, and customer updates.
- Lead API testing for payloads, mappings, authentication, errors, and downstream impacts.
- Coordinate SIT, end-to-end, regression, UAT support, production checkout, defect triage, and status reporting.
- Identify automation opportunities for functional regression and API coverage.
Compensation
- The compensation range is $100,000 to $110,000 per year across Canada locations.
- Individual pay depends on work location, job level, skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
- Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses, sales incentives, or other variable compensation.
