Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and the spine
- Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgical procedures including fracture fixation, joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder), arthroscopic procedures, sports injury management, hand and upper limb surgery, foot and ankle surgery
- Conduct comprehensive pre operative assessments and post operative follow up care
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans to optimize patient recovery and functional outcomes
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Interpret diagnostic imaging, including X rays, CT scans, MRI, and other relevant investigations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations and hospital policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and CME
- Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to departmental teaching and service development
Requirements
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification
- Board Certification, Fellowship, CCT, or equivalent recognized Specialist qualification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Western trained, with recognized specialist training from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or other recognized Western European countries
- Minimum 3–5 years of post specialization experience as a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon
- Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Specialist license
- Strong expertise in orthopedic trauma, joint reconstruction, arthroscopy, and general orthopedic surgery
- Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision making skills
- Commitment to delivering evidence based, patient centered orthopedic care

Overview
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Western Trained Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare provider in Dubai, UAE.
- The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, while delivering exceptional patient centered care.
