Job Purpose
- The Specialist, Graphics Design (Motion Graphics & Animator) is responsible for designing and producing high quality 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and video elements that support corporate initiatives and marketing campaigns.
- This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and storytelling skills to deliver visually compelling content optimized for digital platforms, particularly social media.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and produce original 2D and 3D animations tailored for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Utilize industry standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D to create dynamic visual content.
- Integrate typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Optimize animations for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback across devices.
- Apply design principles to create aesthetically appealing and brand aligned motion graphics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives, review scripts, and develop storyboards that guide animation production.
- Prepare visual presentations and raw design concepts for review and feedback from creative teams.
- Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives that support campaign messaging.
- Work closely with content developers and videographers to ensure alignment between visual and narrative elements.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative planning to generate innovative multimedia concepts.
- Edit video footage and incorporate motion graphics, transitions, and effects to enhance visual impact.
- Oversee the full production lifecycle from concept to final delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to timelines.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
- 8 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a corporate or creative studio environment.
- Proven ability to create brand aligned designs for both digital and print media.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout design, illustration, and multimedia content creation.
- Experience collaborating with cross functional creative teams and managing multiple design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Canva.
