A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi seeks a highly qualified Female Specialist Gastroenterologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders
- Evaluate and treat conditions including GERD, IBD, IBS, peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and pancreatitis
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (OGD) and colonoscopy
- Conduct endoscopic procedures such as biopsy, polypectomy, foreign body removal, and management of gastrointestinal bleeding
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and pathology reports to develop evidence based treatment plans
- Provide preventive care, patient education, and nutritional counseling to promote digestive health
- Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and clinical governance standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and CME
- Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and research activities where applicable
Requirements
- MBBS/MD with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine
- Fellowship or Board Certification in Gastroenterology (or equivalent recognized Specialist qualification)
- Minimum 3 5 years of post specialization experience as a Specialist Gastroenterologist
- Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi Specialist license
- Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence based, patient centered care

Overview
- We are seeking a highly qualified and compassionate Female Specialist Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders while delivering exceptional patient centered care in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders.
- Evaluate and treat conditions including GERD, IBD, IBS, peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, pancreatitis, and other digestive disorders.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (OGD) and colonoscopy.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or multispecialty medical centers.
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional expertise in hepatology, advanced endoscopy, or inflammatory bowel disease is an advantage.
