Role Overview

Deliver professional, ethical, and high-quality clinical care to patients.

Manage clinical risks, comply with governance standards, and maintain accurate medical records.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and efficient clinical services to patients.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with direct patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.
  • Support continuous professional development of self and others.
  • Execute clinical services ethically and responsibly.

Occupational Safety and Health

  • Comply with occupational safety instructions, policies, and safe working procedures.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
  • Follow emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Assist with risk assessments and report hazards, incidents, near misses, and issues.
  • Attend safety training, awareness programmes, mock drills, audits, and inspections.
  • Reduce, reuse, and recycle waste where possible.

Infection Prevention and Control

  • Implement the NMC infection prevention and control policy and strategy.
  • Maintain strict hand hygiene, including the five moments of hand hygiene.
  • Follow bare-below-the-elbows and environmental care standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of post-qualification experience at Specialist level.
  • At least 1 year of Specialist-level experience from a Tier 1 country specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
  • Hold a basic medical degree and recognized specialty qualification or education programme.
  • Hold recognized specialty certification and registration with the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
  • Maintain active and valid life support certification such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, or NRP.
  • Be eligible for relevant healthcare authority registration through a recognized qualification or professional membership.
