- Conduct comprehensive pre anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
- Administer general, regional, local, and monitored anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures
- Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, ensuring optimal safety and clinical outcomes
- Manage airway emergencies, pain control, and critical care support when required
- Provide post anesthesia care and oversee patient recovery following surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver multidisciplinary patient care
- Respond promptly to emergency cases and participate in on call duties as required
- Ensure accurate documentation of anesthesia records and patient care
- Adhere to Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, infection control protocols, and international clinical standards
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME) activities
- Supervise and support junior medical staff and allied healthcare professionals when appropriate
Requirements
- MD, MS, DNB, or equivalent qualification in Anesthesiology from a recognized institution
- Valid DoH Abu Dhabi License or DoH Eligibility Letter as a Specialist Anesthesiologist
- Minimum 3 5 years of post specialization clinical experience in anesthesia practice
- Strong knowledge of modern anesthesia techniques, perioperative medicine, and patient safety standards
- Experience in managing elective, emergency, and high risk surgical cases
- Excellent clinical decision making, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to delivering high quality, patient centered care
