Planning
The Space Planning team is responsible for designing and optimizing store layouts that create efficient, productive, and customer-focused shopping experiences across our retail brands. As a Space Planning Co-op, you will support the team's efforts to leverage data and analytics to drive smarter space planning decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Teamwork
The team develops store-level floor plans and planograms, determining both the overall placement of fixtures and departments throughout the store and the product organization within each space. Serving as subject matter experts for their assigned brands, team members maintain and uphold brand-specific merchandising standards, documentation, and requirements while partnering with stakeholders to ensure each store reflects the unique identity and objectives of the brand.
Assist
In this role, you will assist with the creation and validation of space analytics and productivity reporting tools, primarily using Power BI, and help develop performance reporting that enables the team to measure results and identify opportunities for action.
Analysis

Knowledge
Understanding of relational databases, including data structures, relationships, and data interactions. Familiarity with AI tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other generative AI solutions.
Environment
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Technical
Students pursuing Computer Science with a Business minor or similar combination of technical and business coursework are encouraged to apply.
Degree
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
Experience
Experience with Power BI, particularly performance reporting and data visualization; dashboard development experience is a plus.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Communication
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Retail
Retail experience strongly preferred; grocery retail experience is a plus.
Proficiency
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools preferred.
Understanding of relational databases, including data structures, relationships, and data interactions.
Familiarity with AI tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or other generative AI solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
