Role Overview

Guest Consultation and Treatments

• Conduct consultations to understand guest preferences, wellness goals, and health considerations.
• Recommend suitable treatments and deliver massages, body treatments, wellness therapies, aromatherapy, hot stone therapy, reflexology, and signature spa experiences.
• Deliver treatments safely and professionally in line with Banyan Tree Spa standards.

Guest Experience and Service

• Create a warm, relaxing, and personalised experience throughout each guest's spa journey.
• Maintain a calm treatment environment and provide advice on wellness routines, skincare, and post-treatment care.
• Build genuine guest connections and anticipate needs to enhance the overall experience.

Products and Retail

• Recommend appropriate spa products and treatments based on guest preferences and requirements.
• Promote spa services and retail products to support revenue objectives.
• Share product knowledge and wellness recommendations in a professional, consultative manner.

Treatment Room and Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of treatment rooms.
• Prepare equipment, tools, linens, and amenities before and after treatments.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures and maintain accurate guest records.
• Report maintenance, safety, or guest-related concerns to Spa management.

Teamwork and Operations

• Collaborate with Spa, Wellness, and Front Office teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Participate in training and development and stay updated on spa trends, treatments, and wellness practices.
• Support overall Spa operations and assist with additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous Spa Therapist experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or wellness environment is preferred.
• Professional certification or qualification in spa therapy, massage, beauty, or wellness treatments is required.
• Strong knowledge of massage techniques, body treatments, and spa therapies is required.
• Experience delivering personalised treatments to luxury clientele is required.
• Good spoken English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of hygiene, safety, and guest care standards is required.
