Role Overview

Serve as the first and last impression of the restaurant experience at Banyan Tree Dubai.

Welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and support a smooth, personalized guest journey.

Guest Welcome and Experience

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a personalized welcome.
  • Manage seating, escort guests to tables, and present menus when required.
  • Ensure guests are acknowledged promptly, including during peak periods.

Reservations and Seating

  • Manage daily reservations using the restaurant booking system.
  • Handle walk-ins, waiting lists, guest preferences, and seating plans.
  • Coordinate table allocation and communicate accurate wait times.

Guest Relations

  • Engage with guests throughout arrival and departure to support satisfaction.
  • Handle requests, preferences, and special occasions with care.
  • Address minor concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.

Operational Support

  • Coordinate with service teams and supervisors to maintain smooth seating flow.
  • Assist with restaurant setup and closing procedures as required.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable reception area, host stand, menus, and signage.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous Hostess experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of guest service and front-of-house operations is required.
  • Reservation-system experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent spoken English, professional appearance, and polished communication skills are required.
