About the Role
Daughter and Dad Coffee is hiring a Sous Chef to support the Chef/Kitchen Lead with food preparation, stock control, and kitchen hygiene. The role requires 2-3 years of commercial kitchen experience and basic food safety training.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce food items according to recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines
- Support the Chef / Kitchen Lead with daily prep lists, stock control and service readiness
- Assist with receiving deliveries, checking dates, labelling and correct storage
- Complete cleaning, temperature and food safety records as required
- Maintain hygiene and organisation across the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Support allergen awareness, traceability and correct handling of ingredients
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures
- Report stock shortages, equipment faults or quality issues to the Chef / Kitchen Lead or Assistant Manager
- Work collaboratively with the bar and FOH team to ensure smooth service
Requirements
- Minimum 2 3 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen, café, restaurant or catering environment
- Experience with prep, service, stock control and food safety procedures required
- Culinary qualifications preferred but not essential
- Basic Food Safety training required or must be completed during onboarding
- Must already be based in the UAE
- Must be able to commute independently and organise own accommodation
- Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays

Job Overview

Salary & Benefits
- Salary from AED 2,250 per month, depending on experience
- Company employment visa and health insurance provided
- Annual leave and other benefits as per UAE labour requirements
