Job Overview

  • We are looking for an experienced and talented Sous Chef (Arabic Speaking) to join our culinary team.
  • The ideal candidate should have 4–6 years of UAE experience in Arabic cuisine and a strong understanding of traditional and modern Arabic cooking techniques.
  • The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, maintaining food quality standards, supervising the culinary team, and ensuring smooth daily kitchen activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning, preparing, and executing high quality Arabic cuisine dishes.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Prepare authentic Arabic dishes while maintaining consistency, taste, and presentation standards.
  • Monitor food preparation, portion control, and quality standards according to hotel/restaurant guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, stock control, and inventory management.
  • Train and guide junior chefs and kitchen team members on Arabic cooking techniques and standards.
  • Assist in menu development and suggest improvements based on guest preferences and trends.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to minimize wastage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine.
  • 4–6 years of UAE experience in a hotel, restaurant, or high volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Arabic dishes, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Arabic speaking is mandatory.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP certification is an advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Pay

  • AED 6,000 AED 10,000 per month
