Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press laundry items according to fabric type and care instructions
• Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special treatment requirements
• Treat stains using appropriate cleaning techniques and products
• Keep laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards
• Track inventory of linens, detergents, and supplies; report shortages as needed
• Handle guest or client laundry requests promptly and professionally (if applicable)
• Follow company procedures for lost-and-found items
• Assist with additional housekeeping or operational tasks when required

Hse Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) laws, ISO 45001 requirements, and company policies and procedures.
• Report all hazards, near misses, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately through defined reporting channels.
• Participate in HSE training, consultation, and follow all safe work procedures and instructions at all times.
• Follow all safe systems of work when performing assigned duties to prevent the risk of injury or ill health to yourself and others.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or similar roles preferred
• Ability to operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Good time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of laundry chemicals and safety procedures

Work Environment

• Fast-paced setting such as hotel, resort, hospital, spa, or commercial laundry facility
• Requires lifting up to 20–25 kg and working in warm environments
• Shift-based schedule, including weekends or holidays depending on business need
