Role Description

  • The Assistant Manager – The Finery is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
  • Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the luxury garment care division.
  • Manages a team of front line and supervisory staff to ensure high quality processing of premium garments, shoes, and bags.
  • Monitors production workflows, quality checks, and order accuracy using Washmen’s technology and RFID tracking tools.
  • Proactively resolves operational issues.
  • Coordinates staffing and shift schedules, trains and coaches team members, enforces health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
  • Supports performance reporting, drives continuous process improvements, and collaborates with customer support and logistics teams.

Qualifications

  • Operational leadership skills, including team supervision, shift management, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience in service or production environments, preferably in laundry, hospitality, luxury retail, or related sectors.
  • Strong quality control, attention to detail, and familiarity with handling delicate or high value garments and accessories.
  • Comfort with technology, including operations software, dashboards, and data driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Availability to work on site in Dubai with flexibility for shifts, weekends, or peak period schedules.
