Software Tooling Support Engineer

Lead initiatives aimed at improving platform performance, usability and engineering productivity.

Identify and drive automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Support adoption of new tooling capabilities and engineering practices.

Translate stakeholder requirements into practical application improvements.

Act as a key contact for engineering teams within assigned domains.

Collaborate with support partners and suppliers to resolve operational challenges and improve service quality.

Lead tooling-related workstreams and improvement initiatives.

Provide guidance on tooling capabilities, best practices and operational improvements.

Maintain and improve operational standards, documentation and knowledge assets.

Facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.

Support onboarding and coaching of less experienced engineers.

Contribute to the development of support capabilities and ways of working.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

5+ years of experience in software tooling support, application management or software engineering environments.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale software engineering tooling and platforms.

Strong understanding of software development processes, DevOps practices and CI/CD environments.

Proven experience driving application improvements, automation initiatives or platform optimization activities.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
