Job Summary
Ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications.
Work with developers, project managers, and other team members to identify defects and validate new features.
Use software testing methodologies and troubleshooting skills to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements.
Software Testing
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and system testing.
- Test new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across different environments.
- Identify edge cases and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing where required.
API and Database Testing
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Validate API requests, responses, status codes, authentication, and data.
- Perform basic database testing using MySQL or other relational databases.
- Write SQL queries to verify data accuracy and application functionality.
