Role Overview
DriveTime is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for its Summer 2027 internship program.
Software engineering teams support multiple business verticals and provide hands-on experience with modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work with Angular, Ionic, .NET, C#, Node.js, Microsoft Azure, and other technologies.
- Drive initiatives and help solve problems of varying size and complexity.
- Work on business-critical projects using modern technologies.
- Build experience in a fast-paced Agile and professional organization.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Have experience in software, web, and application development.
- Have strong problem-solving skills.
- Understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, Node.js, Java, GraphQL, C#, .NET, and Azure.
Internship Schedule
- The internship is an 11-week program running from May 2027 through August 2027.
- The expected schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Workplace
- Internships are based at the Home Office in Tempe, Arizona.
- The role follows a regular on-site schedule.
- Relocation assistance is not provided.
Program Benefits

- Interns may have opportunities to continue through the fall, return the following summer, or join full-time after graduation.
