About the role
The Staff Software Engineer participates in all phases of the development lifecycle.
The role requires knowledge of object-oriented development and engineering best practices.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Suggest improvements that enhance client experience or application performance.
- Participate in solution maintenance, support, Agile development, and Scrum ceremonies.
- Work with Product Management to document requirements and collaborate on technical designs.
- Keep up to date with technical developments and implement UI/UX design concepts.
- Ensure web standards, accessibility requirements, and high-quality coding standards are maintained.
- Coordinate implementation with product management, the scrum master, and other team members.
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and experiment with emerging capabilities.
What you’ll need
- Three to five years of experience designing and developing applications on the Microsoft stack.
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, C#, and .NET Core.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, RESTful services, and APIs.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices and object-oriented development.
