Role Overview
Speechify develops text-to-speech products across iOS, Android, Mac, Chrome Extension, and web platforms.
The Platform team builds and maintains backend services for payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs.
This is a key platform role focused on strategic product decisions, scalable backend systems, and user experience.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs.
- Build APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, consumption tracking, and text to speech.
- Ensure APIs meet business and scalability requirements.
- Oversee the backend API landscape and improve performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate on B2B solutions focused on enterprise customization and integration needs.
- Align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience through cross-functional collaboration.
