About Speechify

Platform Team Overview
The Platform team builds and maintains backend services for payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text to speech, and external APIs.
This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, makes product decisions, and builds user experiences that delight customers.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust public and internal APIs, including payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption-tracking services.
- Oversee the backend API landscape and enhance it for performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate on B2B solutions focused on enterprise customization and integration needs.
- Align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience through cross-functional collaboration.
Ideal Candidate
- Have proven backend development experience using TypeScript and Node.js.
