Join the Windows Print team within Microsoft's Windows and Devices organization.
The team is evolving the modern Windows Print and Scan stack using industry standards and a secure print platform foundation.
The role contributes to secure, reliable, and increasingly intelligent print and scan experiences at global scale.
Responsibilities
- Own, design, and maintain features in the modern Windows Print and Scan stack.
- Write effective, testable, and maintainable code focused on quality, reliability, and security.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and diagnosability.
- Participate in feature design discussions, technical reviews, and code reviews with senior engineers.
- Define and execute test strategies for functional correctness, reliability, and security.
- Use logging, telemetry, and diagnostics to troubleshoot issues.
- Apply secure engineering practices and follow privacy and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Windows, cloud services, and printer and scanner vendor teams.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
