About This Role
Build PF Scout, a conversational property-search experience at the intersection of search, AI, and the property marketplace.
Own product and technical problems end to end, from user experience and APIs through retrieval, LLM integrations, observability, and production operations.
Work on product quality challenges involving latency, relevance, reliability, and cost at scale.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship end-to-end features across TypeScript and Node.js backend services and React-based frontend experiences.
- Own features from design through production, including implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration based on real user behavior.
- Work on retrieval, ranking, aggregation, caching, and large property datasets.
- Build AI-powered experiences involving LLMs, tool calling, streaming, conversational state, and fallbacks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data teams, and engineers on reliable customer solutions.
Required Technical Skills
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including production consumer-facing applications.
- Strong TypeScript proficiency, particularly Node.js backend development with Express.js, NestJS, or a similar framework.
