Learning Experience Instructional Designer

LMS and Learning Technology

• Develop and maintain learning content within the LMS and other learning technologies.
• Maintain accurate course documentation, content libraries, and course folders.
• Use course development and authoring tools to create digital learning experiences.
• Apply basic HTML knowledge where required.

Stakeholder Management

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and knowledge owners.
• Engage content owners to keep learning materials accurate and up to date.
• Adapt learning solutions to the needs of different learner groups.
• Act as a trusted partner throughout learning design and development.

Business Impact and Prioritization

• Translate business priorities into relevant learning solutions.
• Assess the importance and criticality of different knowledge areas.
• Prioritize content based on business needs, learner impact, and urgency.
• Balance impact, accessibility, simplicity, and ease of delivery.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.

Experience and Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in instructional design, learning design, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and developing learning experiences and instructional content.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with course development or authoring tools.
• Experience creating storyboards and visual learning materials.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong instructional writing and content development skills.
• Experience creating audio and video scripts.
• Visual design capabilities and familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Basic HTML knowledge.
• Ability to create engaging digital and interactive learning experiences.
