Flex manages dynamic operating envelopes, emergency backstop, flexible exports, and battery orchestration for solar systems, batteries, and EVs.
The software engineer will work across backend services, data models, and the web-facing product surface.
The role makes power flow and optimisation outputs usable, observable, and operable in production.

Role overview

The software engineer will work across backend services, data models, and the web-facing product surface.
The role makes power flow and optimisation outputs usable, observable, and operable in production.
What you'll do
- Build and ship product features across backend services, data models, and web UI.
- Own features end to end from problem understanding through production delivery and iteration.
- Build configuration, operational visibility, and reporting tools for utilities and internal teams.
- Work with the data models and services that feed Flex products.
- Build operational tooling and monitoring for healthy Flex deployments.
- Collaborate with the grid modelling team to integrate power flow and optimisation outputs.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
- Contribute to code quality, testing, observability, and knowledge sharing.
