The platform helps utilities modernise grid operations and unlock flexibility capabilities such as dynamic operating envelopes and flexible interconnections.
Role Overview
The Software Engineer will join the Flex product team and focus on the software side of the data ecosystem.
Flex is a DER orchestration product covering dynamic operating envelopes, emergency backstop, flexible exports, and battery orchestration.
The role owns systems moving grid data into and out of Flex at volume and integrations with utility systems and grid modelling engines.
What You Will Do
- Design and build pipelines and services processing DER telemetry, meter data, and network data reliably at volume.
- Build inbound and outbound integrations between Flex and utility operational systems.
- Create data quality checks, metrics, logging, and alerting to make pipeline and feed failures observable.
- Build data models supporting dynamic operating envelopes, backstop events, flexible exports, and battery orchestration.
