Role Summary
The Software Engineer will work in a global People Technology team supporting HR technology solutions.
The role spans Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits modules, the Maersk Career Site, and the Workday ecosystem.
The position also translates business requirements into scalable solutions and advances AI and automation across HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance frontend and backend applications using multiple programming languages and development tools.
- Develop Generative AI applications, copilots, and autonomous agents for HR operations, employee experience, and decision support.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, performant, maintainable, and supportable APIs.
- Configure and support Workday Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits, including processes, security, rules, integrations, validations, and reporting.
- Maintain development standards, CI/CD practices, code management strategies, and Workday configuration best practices.
- Support peer reviews, knowledge sharing, Product Owner advisory, strategic projects, change requests, incidents, mass loads, and HR Operations.
- Work in Agile Scrum teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience building and supporting applications on the .NET stack.
- Hands-on experience with Vue and scalable RESTful APIs.
- Basic OAuth 2.0 knowledge and OWASP security best practices.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience, including microservices, App Services, API management, cloud-native development, and integrations.
- Strong DevOps experience with GitHub CI/CD, Terraform, and Docker.
- Knowledge of NoSQL or MongoDB and cache-based systems.
- Generative AI, LLM, AI/ML, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and model fine-tuning experience.
- Experience with BDD, TDD, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Understanding of UX and UI principles.
- Workday experience in Core HCM, Recruitment, Compensation, or Benefits.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and HR-to-technical translation skills.
- Practical experience in Agile Scrum and sprint-based delivery environments.
