The role is based in Louisiana, United States, and contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions across the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and debug systems, and upgrade existing software for optimal performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and team methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar development role.
- Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
Education
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, or candidates may have equivalent practical experience.
