Role Overview

Qureos is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join its production team on an urgent basis.

The role supports branding, events, exhibitions, signage, and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate UV, solvent, eco-solvent, and latex digital printers in large and small formats.
  • Operate CNC routers, plotters, laser cutters, laminators, and other finishing equipment.
  • Prepare substrates, inks, and materials according to job requirements.
  • Perform test prints and adjust alignment, sizing, and colour accuracy.
  • Carry out cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing, and assembly work.
  • Prepare and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Prepare and verify AI, PDF, PSD, and EPS print-ready files.
  • Operate RIP software, manage production queues, and perform quality checks.
  • Troubleshoot minor machine, mechanical, and software-related issues.
  • Perform machine cleaning, calibration, preventive maintenance, and material usage monitoring.
  • Follow HSE and production quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with designers, production teams, and project managers on job execution.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Print Operator, CNC Operator, Fabrication Technician, or similar.
  • Strong practical knowledge of digital printing and fabrication machinery.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; basic InDesign knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience with RIP software and print production workflows.
  • Knowledge of colour management and print quality control.
  • Ability to read artworks, layouts, technical drawings, and job instructions.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Signage, advertising, events, exhibitions, or fabrication experience is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle production materials and work extended hours when required.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Production Environment

  • The role involves physical production work and handling materials including vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum, PVC, fabric, and paper.
  • The role requires following HSE requirements and supporting urgent projects, exhibitions, installations, and high-demand production periods.
