Job Description

  • Client Servicing & Account Handling: Partner with Account Director to ensure social media efforts align with brand strategy and client goals.
  • Strategy & Content Execution: Develop and implement social media strategies, create bilingual content, and manage publishing.
  • Monitoring, Reporting & Innovation: Use social listening tools, report on KPIs, and manage influencer campaigns.

Client Servicing & Account Handling

  • Strategic Support: Partner with the Account Director to ensure social media efforts align with the broader brand strategy and client business goals.
  • Client Leadership: Attend client meetings as the lead voice for Social Media, providing expert recommendations and managing expectations.
  • Proposal Development: Support account growth by contributing to proposals, upsells, and strategic social recommendations.
  • Team Mentorship: Manage Social Media Executives, monitoring their workload, quality of output, and professional development.

Strategy & Content Execution

  • Social Roadmap: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies, including content pillars, community management protocols, and platform playbooks.
  • End to End Content Creation: Directly draft, edit, and publish high quality daily social media posts across all relevant platforms.
  • Bilingual Copywriting: Write punchy, persuasive copy in both English and Arabic, ensuring tone of voice is tailored to the target audience with Gulf cultural nuances.
  • Visual Storytelling: Use mobile editing tools and design apps (e.g. CapCut, Canva) to create social first content for real time engagement.
  • Platform Optimisation: Manually handle scheduling and technical uploading, ensuring every post is optimised with tags, locations, and trending audio.
  • Quality Control: Take personal ownership of final output, proofreading all copy to ensure zero errors before publishing.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with design and video teams to ensure visual assets are optimised for social first consumption.
  • Community Growth: Proactively suggest new features, promotions, and competitions to build brand awareness and foster community loyalty.

Monitoring, Reporting & Innovation

  • Insights & Analytics: Use social listening tools to research benchmark trends and audience preferences; pull actionable insights for portfolio clients.
  • Performance Reporting: Set specific objectives (KPIs) and report on ROI, translating engagement metrics into tangible business impact for clients.
  • Influencer Management: Lead or support influencer marketing campaigns, from identification and vetting through to execution and reporting.
  • On the Ground Coverage: Attend events and lead live social coverage (Stories, TikTok, etc.), ensuring the brand captures real time cultural moments.
  • Trend Evangelist: Educate clients and internal teams on best practices, emerging technologies, and latest platform algorithm shifts.

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in Social Media Management, ideally within a creative or digital agency environment.
  • Languages: Native level Arabic (with strong understanding of Gulf dialects and regional cultural nuances) and professional English are a must.
  • MENA Market Expertise: Strong knowledge of the MENA social media landscape, including platform specific trends across Snapchat, X, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.
  • Relationship Builder & Client Partner: Acts as a trusted advisor to clients, with interpersonal skills of an Account Manager.
  • Leadership & Coordination: Outstanding organizational ability, managing Social Media Executives and coordinating with creative and production teams.
  • Data Driven Presenter: Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; comfortable presenting social strategies and monthly performance reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Adaptable & Commercial: Thrives in a fast paced, multi client setting, integrating technical platform knowledge with a commercial mindset.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: Able to navigate complex client requests and platform shifts efficiently.
  • Collaborative Bridge Builder: Acts as a link between client's brand requirements and internal creative team.
