Overview

The purpose of this role is to work with strategy lead to craft strategic outputs including creative briefs, research reports and analyses, selling narratives, strategic POVS and go-to market plans

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Strategist with a deep understanding of Saudi culture, consumer behavior, and the evolving social landscape of the Kingdom.

This role goes beyond writing presentations and research decks — you will help shape brand positioning, campaign platforms, and creative opportunities grounded in real cultural insight.

You should understand how Saudis think, communicate, consume, and engage across generations and regions.

From luxury and entertainment to government, youth culture, and technology, you will help ensure the work is strategically sharp and culturally authentic.

AI tools are part of your strategic process, helping you synthesize information faster, identify patterns, and explore emerging behaviors and trends.

• Cultural & Brand Strategy

  • Develop strategic frameworks and communication platforms for brands operating across Saudi Arabia and the GCC
  • Translate consumer insight and cultural understanding into actionable creative opportunities
  • Lead audience research, trend analysis, and competitive audits
  • Identify shifts in Saudi culture, entertainment, social behavior, and digital consumption patterns
  • Build strategic narratives that inspire creative teams and clients alike
  • Creative Collaboration
  • Work closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, and Copywriters throughout campaign development
  • Help shape campaign territories, messaging platforms, and brand storytelling
  • Ensure all work is culturally grounded and relevant to Saudi audiences
  • Contribute to pitches, workshops, and client-facing strategic presentations

• AI-Powered Strategic Thinking

  • Use AI and LLM tools to accelerate research, synthesize market data, and explore behavioral patterns
  • Leverage AI tools for trend forecasting, cultural mapping, and strategic exploration
  • Integrate emerging technologies into planning and strategy workflows where relevant
  • Stay informed on AI’s impact on marketing, culture, and communication behavior

• Insight, Communication & Leadership

  • Present strategic thinking confidently to senior stakeholders and clients
  • Mentor junior strategists and planners within the team
  • Turn complex information into clear, inspiring, and actionable insights
  • Maintain strategic rigor while moving at the speed required by modern agency environments

Ai Tools

  • ChatGPT / Claude or similar LLM platforms
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted research and synthesis tools

Experience Profile

  • 7–10 years of strategy or planning experience within an agency or consultancy environment
  • Strong experience working on Saudi-based brands and campaigns
  • Deep understanding of Saudi culture, social behavior, and consumer trends
  • Experience across brand, digital, social, and integrated communications
  • Arabic speaking is highly preferred
