Job Purpose

Lead the planning, execution, and day-to-day growth of the brand’s social media channels.

This role will own content planning, campaign coordination, publishing, and channel performance, ensuring social media supports brand visibility, engagement, and acquisition objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with creative, marketing, and campaign teams to deliver social activity that reflects Hantec Trader’s commercial priorities, promotional calendar, and evolving brand identity.

Social Strategy & Planning

  • Lead monthly and weekly social media planning across all Hantec Trader social channels
  • Build content calendars aligned with campaigns, launches, promotions, competitions, and brand priorities
  • Ensure content mix balances promotional, educational, community, and brand-building objectives
  • Identify opportunities to improve channel relevance, consistency, and engagement

Execution & Publishing

  • Manage day-to-day publishing across key social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and LinkedIn where relevant
  • Coordinate creative and copy requirements to ensure timely delivery of social assets
  • Manage campaign rollouts across social in line with launch schedules
  • Maintain strong publishing discipline and platform best practice

Campaign Support

  • Translate promotions, offers, and campaigns into effective social content plans
  • Support hero campaigns, limited-time offers, competitions, and product launches
  • Ensure social messaging is adapted appropriately by platform

Performance Monitoring

  • Track content performance and engagement trends
  • Identify what content formats, messages, and campaigns perform best
  • Make recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and efficiency
  • Report regularly on key channel metrics and learnings

Community Awareness

  • Monitor audience behaviour, sentiment, and relevant market trends
  • Flag opportunities, competitor activity, and emerging social trends relevant to trading audiences
  • Support stronger audience relevance through timely content ideas

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with design, paid media, CRM, and broader marketing teams
  • Ensure social content supports wider campaign objectives
  • Manage approvals and internal coordination efficiently

Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of experience managing social media for digital-first brands
  • Strong experience building content calendars and executing campaigns
  • Good understanding of content performance across major social platforms
  • Able to work in a fast-moving commercial environment with frequent campaign launches
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to timing
  • Comfortable balancing planning with hands-on execution

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent practical experience will also be considered

• Meta Business Suite

  • Hootsuite or similar scheduling platform
  • Google Analytics
  • Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Strongly Preferred

  • Basic use of Canva
  • Familiarity with social reporting dashboards
  • Experience using link tracking / UTM structures
