- Perform road safety assessments and implement measures to enhance safety
- Design and optimize traffic signal timing and coordination
- Utilize traffic simulation software to model and analyze traffic scenarios
- Develop and maintain Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
- Oversee road maintenance activities and coordinate with relevant departments
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate traffic engineering principles
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with local and international traffic engineering standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in traffic engineering or related field, with focus on roads O&M
- Proficiency in traffic engineering principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of traffic simulation software (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong project management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical analysis tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Traffic Engineering certification (e.g., PTOE) is a plus
