Role Summary
The Site Manager will lead on-site construction activities from planning through project handover.
The role focuses on commercial and tourism-related building projects in the UAE.
The position is responsible for safe, timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
High-end finishing experience and knowledge of UAE construction regulations and QHSE requirements are expected.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise on-site construction activities for commercial building projects.
- Manage daily site operations, including subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Monitor progress, productivity, and resource use, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Coordinate with Technical Office, QA/QC, Planning, MEP, and HSE teams.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, QHSE standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct site inspections for quality, safety, and specification compliance.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
- Experience managing commercial building projects.
- Proven experience in high-end finishing works.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, building codes, and QHSE standards.
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- PMP certification is an advantage.
