Role Overview
The Lifting Supervisor will supervise and coordinate lifting activities on construction sites.
The role requires safe execution of lifting operations under approved plans, method statements, project requirements, and UAE HSE regulations.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- At least 7 years of relevant lifting operations experience in the construction sector is required.
- UAE construction experience is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience supervising crane, rigging, and lifting activities on construction sites is required.
- Relevant Lifting Supervisor or UAE-recognized third-party competency certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of safe lifting practices, load capacities, crane configurations, and lifting accessories is required.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills are required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with large-scale building, residential, or major construction projects is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements, including RAMS.
- Verify inspections and certifications for cranes, lifting equipment, accessories, and tackles before use.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, banksmen or signalmen, HSE teams, and site management.
- Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks.
- Control lifting zones and stop unsafe operations when necessary.
