Site Engineer/Site Supervisor role overseeing construction and site activities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The full-time, on-site role supervises contractors and workers, coordinates with project managers, and supports delivery to schedule and budget.
Responsibilities
- Supervise contractors, workers, construction activities, and site operations.
- Ensure work follows designs, structural specifications, safety standards, local regulations, and building codes.
- Monitor quality control, conduct site inspections, manage documentation, and report progress to senior management.
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision skills and practical construction coordination experience.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.
- Quality control and inspection skills for materials, workmanship, and processes.
- Foundation in structural or civil engineering and ability to interpret technical documents.
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is highly beneficial.
- UAE real estate or construction experience as a Site Engineer or Site Supervisor is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, and Dubai permitting processes is preferred.
- Basic project management and construction software proficiency is preferred.
