About the Role
NAGA is seeking an experienced Architect for its Site Supervision team in Abu Dhabi.
The role focuses on supervising and coordinating architectural works for residential buildings and villas in line with approved drawings, project requirements, and applicable UAE codes.
The position requires on-site work, contractor and project-team coordination, technical reviews, and day-to-day architectural supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise architectural works on residential buildings and villas.
- Conduct regular site inspections and verify work against approved drawings and project requirements.
- Review interior and exterior finishes, joinery, wall finishes, stone finishes, waterproofing interfaces, specialist architectural elements, and façade works.
- Conduct technical reviews, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- Coordinate with disciplines, project stakeholders, contractors, and relevant parties.
- Review and respond to Requests for Information.
- Attend progress and technical coordination meetings.
- Monitor quality and progress of architectural works on site.
- Support the Resident Engineer with architectural supervision, inspections, and technical coordination.
- Ensure compliance with UAE codes and project standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and consultancy supervision.
- Strong experience supervising residential buildings and villas.
- Good knowledge of applicable UAE codes and regulations.
- Strong experience in architectural site supervision, inspections, coordination, and technical reviews.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment with contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Software Requirements
- Experience using Revit, BIM, ACC, or equivalent applications is required.
