About the Role
The role is for a Plumbing and Firefighting Design Engineer in the Dubai MEP team.
The position delivers designs that comply with international standards, local authority requirements, and project specifications.
The successful candidate will support multidisciplinary coordination and lead a small design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare plumbing and firefighting designs for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
- Perform engineering calculations and equipment sizing.
- Develop schematic, detailed design, tender, and IFC drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA, IPC, BS, ASPE, and local authority requirements.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, civil, and BIM teams.
- Prepare design reports, technical submissions, and authority approval documentation.
