The employer is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Accountant for its construction team.
The role requires practical experience managing construction project accounting and coordinating directly with site teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities for assigned construction sites and projects.
- Maintain records of site expenses, petty cash, purchases, payments, and project transactions.
- Monitor expenditures and verify invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and supporting documents.
- Prepare, reconcile, and settle site petty cash and cash advances.
- Coordinate with site, project, procurement, stores, and head-office teams on financial matters.
- Allocate expenses to the correct project, site, cost center, or account.
- Track subcontractor and supplier invoices for verification and processing.
- Assist with project budgets, commitments, expenses, cost variances, and financial reporting.
- Reconcile site accounts, cash balances, supplier accounts, and project-related balances.
- Submit, file, and maintain site financial records and support month-end closing.
- Review documentation for compliance and report discrepancies or unusual expenses to the Finance Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the construction industry.
- Mandatory hands-on experience as a Site Accountant or Project Accountant on construction sites.
- Strong knowledge of construction project accounting, site financial processes, and cost tracking.
- Experience with site expenses, petty cash, suppliers, subcontractors, invoices, and project costs.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, coordination, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site-related accounting requirements.
