- Liaise with other resident instructional staff in CAE and at 37SQN
Requirements
- Possess qualifications and experience to be authorised as a competent Simulator Pilot Instructor by RAAF Central Flying School
- Hold or ability to gain Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience, or 1000 command hours on multi engine tactical transport aircraft
- Completed or ability to complete ground training segments of C 130J Pilot Conversion Course
- Hold Australian Citizenship and be eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearance

Role Overview
- Responsible to the C 130J Key Account Manager and reports to the C 130J Lead Instructor
- Provides training, administrative and subject matter expertise support for C 130J Pilot Initial Qualification courses, secondary upgrade courses, and currency training
- Liaises with other resident instructional staff in CAE and at 37SQN as required
Responsibilities
- Preparation, delivery, assessment, maintenance and evaluation of training and assessment materials
- Delivery of training in the classroom and simulator as required
- Contributes to Aviation Safety Management related to training platform
- Internal CAE business initiatives as directed by the Lead Instructor
Essential Criteria
- Possess qualifications and experience to be authorised as a competent Simulator Pilot Instructor by RAAF Central Flying School
- Hold or ability to gain Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience, or 1000 command hours on multi engine tactical transport aircraft
- Completed or ability to complete ground training segments of C 130J Pilot Conversion Course

Desirable Criteria
- Previous Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience on C 130J
- Hold or have held Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor Rating or civil equivalent with minimum 200 hours airborne instruction
- Experience as a flight simulator instructor
