Responsibilities
- Maintain personal licenses, ratings, and IP currency
- Ensure authority approval is valid prior to conducting training

- Conduct all simulator briefings and training sessions in a thorough and positive manner

- Provide simulator instruction on one or more aircraft types
- Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings
- Deliver classroom instruction via Simfinity, CBT, IPT, or stand up lectures
- Support development and certification of training curriculum and devices
- Obtain FAA/EASA ground school and simulator instructor designation within 12 months
- Acquire qualifications to serve as an examiner
- Perform seat support duties as required

About This Role
- Maintain personal licenses, ratings, and IP currency, including medical fitness if applicable.
- Ensure that any approval granted by an Authority is valid prior to conducting any training.
- Adhere to ECFT/CAE policies and procedures at the operational level.
- Comply with regulations and procedures related to Authority approved programs.
Briefing and De Briefing
- Conduct all simulator briefings and training sessions in a thorough and positive manner.
- Accurately document any deviations from required SOPs, procedures, or maneuvers.
- Discuss deviations with the trainee pilot during the simulator debriefing.
Training
- Review the client's Training and Checking Authorization form prior to conducting any training.
- Provide simulator instruction on one or more aircraft types, requiring four or more hours per session.
- Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough and professional manner.
- Deliver classroom instruction via Simfinity, CBT, IPT, or stand up lectures.
- Support the development and certification of training curriculum and devices if assigned.
- Obtain FAA/EASA ground school and simulator instructor designation within approximately 12 months if assigned to ground school.
- Acquire qualifications to serve as an examiner and perform examiner duties.
- Perform seat support duties as required.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks such as maintaining training records and tracking personal instructional qualifications.
- Prepare and inspect classroom facilities and equipment prior to each training day.
- Recommend candidates for licensing checks based on training performance and readiness.
- Act as a subject matter expert in the creation and review of curriculum and courseware if assigned.
