Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings based on approved IFC drawings, project specifications, and client requirements
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify discrepancies and coordinate necessary revisions
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, designers, and site engineers to resolve technical issues
- Ensure all shop drawings comply with UAE regulations, project standards, and company quality requirements
- Revise and update drawings based on consultant comments and site conditions
- Prepare fabrication and installation drawings for production and site execution
- Maintain drawing revision control and ensure timely submission of shop drawings
- Support site teams by providing technical clarifications and resolving drawing related issues
- Verify quantities from drawings when required
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing records
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 2 5 years of experience in shop drawing preparation for construction, interior fit out, or engineering projects
- UAE experience preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp, or other 3D modeling software is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Strong understanding of shop drawing standards and detailing

Job Summary
- Seeking a detail oriented and experienced Shop Drawing Engineer to join the team in Dubai.
- Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating detailed shop drawings for construction and fit out projects.
- Requires close coordination with architects, consultants, project managers, and site teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in shop drawing preparation for construction, interior fit out, or engineering projects.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction detailing, engineering standards, and UAE building regulations.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp, or other 3D modeling software is an advantage.
