Shift Supervisor - PT

Position Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support sales-floor operations and help generate sales potential through a consistent store-floor presence.
• Open and close the store while holding store keys when management is unavailable.
• Partner with Sales Associates to deliver customer service and achieve sales goals and KPIs.
• Manage break schedules and ensure store zones remain covered.
• Coach associates on customer engagement, selling, and sales-floor etiquette.
• Assist with merchandise presentation, signage, displays, store security, and fitting-room monitoring.
• Process returns and exchanges and authorize specified discounts and employee sales when a manager is absent.
• Follow loss-prevention and inventory-management procedures and escalate performance concerns to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• At least one year of key holder experience in a retail setting is preferred.
• Weekend availability is required, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• The employee must commit to two store closings per week, including one Friday or Saturday closing.
• The role requires safely lifting 50 pounds, handling large packages, and performing loading and unloading.
• The role requires extended standing and walking, reaching overhead, bending, kneeling, ladder use, and repetitive motions.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old for the adult content retail environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and independent task execution are required.
• Completion of the Shift Supervisor three-month training program is required.

Work Environment

• The work environment is an adult content retail store.
• Noise levels are usually moderate to loud.
• Employees must use caution when dealing with difficult customers and avoid confrontations.
