Role Overview

Compensation and Perks

• Starting pay is $20.00 per hour plus tips.

What You'll Do

• Lead bakery operations during the shift and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while providing customer service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members with direction, feedback, and support.
• Prioritize and delegate baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning tasks.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed-of-service standards.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate important updates and partner with store leadership.
• Help the team wherever needed during the shift.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Have strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Have a positive attitude and passion for exceptional guest experiences.
• Be able to obtain any food safety certifications required for the location.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods, including up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Use bakery equipment, food products, and a point-of-sale system safely.
• Work around ovens, freezers, refrigeration units, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise.

Work Environment

• The position works in a fast-paced bakery with frequent guest interaction and varying temperatures.
• Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts are a regular part of the business.

Schedule Expectations

• The bakeries are busiest during evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team members should have availability during peak business hours, with scheduling needs varying by location.
