Role Overview

What You’ll Do

• Deliver orders safely and accurately and ensure they arrive warm and complete.
• Navigate with GPS and delivery technology while following safe driving practices.
• Welcome bakery guests and provide friendly service between deliveries.
• Prepare, package, and organize delivery and pickup orders.
• Bake and package cookies and other treats as needed.
• Operate the register and process guest transactions.
• Keep the bakery clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe.
• Work with the bakery team to keep orders moving quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Reliable insured vehicle meeting company requirements.
• Current auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running company delivery applications.
• Availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Drive safely for extended periods and frequently enter and exit a vehicle.
• Stand and walk for extended periods while working in the bakery.
• Lift and carry orders up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reach, bend, twist, kneel, and carry bakery products.
• Work in varying weather conditions and around ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise.
• Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.

Work Environment

• The role is split between the bakery and the road.
• Bakery work takes place in a fast-paced environment with ovens, refrigeration equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise.
• Delivery work takes place in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Schedule Expectations

• Peak business periods include evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Scheduling needs vary by location.
