ServiceNow ITAM Technical Lead (HAM/SAM):

Overview

Role Overview

• We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow ITAM Technical Lead to drive the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of IT Asset Management (ITAM) capabilities—Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM)—as part of a large-scale ServiceNow engagement. This role will lead the ITAM workstream across technical design, build, and delivery, and will actively drive a team of developers, business analysts, and PMO resources to ensure timely and high-quality execution.

Experience Requirements (Mandatory)

• 15+ years of overall IT experience
• 7–10+ years of ServiceNow platform experience (design and implementation)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering ServiceNow ITAM (HAM and/or SAM)
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end ITAM implementations (HAM/SAM) in complex organizations
• Prior experience leading ServiceNow technical delivery teams (developers, BAs) and coordinating with PMO
• ServiceNow technical certification (preferred): ServiceNow ITAM certifications (HAM and/or SAM)

.Technical Leadership & Solution Design

• Own the end-to-end technical design for ServiceNow ITAM (HAM/SAM) implementation
• Define solution architecture aligned to ServiceNow best practices, minimizing unnecessary customization
• Ensure alignment with CMDB, Discovery, and relevant ITSM workflows
• Review and approve technical designs, configurations, and custom development to ensure maintainability and scalability

• ServiceNow ITAM Expertise (Must-Have)

• Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITAM, including HAM and SAM
• Deep understanding of asset lifecycle processes and ITAM operating model fundamentals
• Strong understanding of CMDB/Discovery concepts and how they enable ITAM accuracy
