Job Purpose
Lead and support projects as directed by management.
The role supports MTU service activities in workshop and field-service settings.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle technical inquiries from customers and colleagues, involving experts when needed.
- Lead, motivate, develop, and train the service team.
- Improve labor efficiency, recognize performance, and suggest service-quality improvements.
- Lead repair and assembly parts-list quotations for MTU products in-house or in the field.
- Check installation, setting to work, and commissioning of MTU products with customer representatives.
- Support quality control, work-process order, workplace cleanliness, staff presentation, and customer communication.
- Guide team members on access requirements such as CICPA or other work gate passes.
- Monitor service standards, prepare reports, and ensure delivery timeliness.
Technical Service Support
- Support diagnostics and dismantling of engine components.
- Inspect parts and assess their reusability.
- Prepare parts lists and cost estimates while managing repair time and cost.
- Prepare quotations, secure jobs, and support engine assembly and repair.
- Ensure quality and prepare assembly and repair processes.
- Test engines and conduct full tests on site.
