Responsibilities
- Coordinate and direct the activities of Service Operators and Operator Assistants during equipment rig up and rig down
- Plan and perform necessary calculations for the total job at the well site
- Direct the preparation of equipment for performing a job
- Provide planning for the job including instructions to the crew and dispute resolution
- Ensure customer satisfaction with jobs performed
- Perform data collection and data distribution on jobs as needed
- Coordinate cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job
- Provide input on individual performance levels of subordinates and on the job skills development
- Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
- Promote and take an active part in quality improvement processes
Requirements
- Exceptional skills within the service line and general understanding of other service functions
- Ability to understand Well Bore schematic, analyze computer programs and operational procedures
- Licensure to drive commercial vehicles may be required
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good leadership and negotiating skills
- Basic computer skills

Overview
- Under general supervision, coordinates and directs the activities of Service Operators and Operator Assistants during the equipment rig up and rig down on a location and promotes excellent customer relations at the worksite.
- Plans and performs necessary calculations for the total job at the well site as needed.
- Directs the preparation of equipment for performing a job.
- Provides planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and dispute resolutions to approved levels.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with jobs performed.
- As needed, may perform data collection and data distribution on jobs.
- Coordinates the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.
- Provides input on individual performance levels of subordinates providing on the job skills development to enhance job performance.
- Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, practices and guidelines.
- Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
Qualifications
- Must possess exceptional skills within the service line and have a general understanding of other service functions.
