Position Summary

  • The Service Sales Manager will be a key driver of business growth, responsible for commercial strategy, sales, and management of service contracts for heat transfer equipment.
  • The role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and client relationship management skills.
  • Focus on securing new business and managing existing long term service contracts for workshop and on site refurbishment services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new service and refurbishment contracts for heat transfer equipment.
  • Focus on securing service work in workshop and on site during industrial shutdowns.
  • Lead negotiation, execution, and management of long term service contracts (LTSAs).
  • Prepare detailed commercial proposals, tenders, and quotations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Act as primary technical and commercial point of contact for clients.
  • Collaborate with Service Operations team for seamless project handover.
  • Ensure all commercial activities adhere to client specific and refinery HSE requirements.
  • Conduct technical presentations and client meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to post sales follow up.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in technical sales within the service, repair, or refurbishment industry for heat transfer or related industrial equipment.
  • Sound knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) and TEMA Standards.
  • Direct experience selling service solutions into refinery, petrochemical, or power generation environments.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional sales, negotiation, and commercial closing skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude combined with business development capabilities.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and client facing skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales pipeline management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
