- Perform onsite service activities including corrective and periodic maintenance, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of technical equipment
- Manage and coordinate technical and commercial issues of projects such as installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty requirements
- Read assembly specifications, charts, schematic diagrams, and manufacturer recommendations for troubleshooting and testing software updates
- Justify spare parts consumption and deal efficiently with third party vendors
- Maintain good customer relationships, identify new service contract opportunities, and liaise with service contract team
- Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare parts usage, tasks performed, and actions taken
- Apply safety rules and safe practices, report unsafe practices and incidents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or electronic engineering or biomedical technician
- 3–5 years of experience as a Biomedical Engineer or Technician in the field
- Hospital based residency experience is a must
- Strong experience working with CMMS and medical asset management software
- Proven experience in providing technical service and support for critical care medical equipment within ICU and OT environments
- Knowledge of electronic systems (installation, configuration, implementation, troubleshooting)
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Effective communication and commercial awareness
- Understanding of the service life cycle and biomedical safety standards
- Valid driving license

Job Overview
- The Service Engineer is responsible for performing onsite service activities, including maintenance, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of technical equipment.
- This role requires close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.
- The Service Engineer will also be responsible for customer relationship management, service reporting, and identifying new service contract opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite Service activities assigned by line leader and ensure to handle corrective and periodic Maintenance, installation and commissioning, onsite trouble shooting analyzing and rectifying of technical problems.
- Manages and coordinate technical and commercial issues of project such as installation, testing and commissioning, trouble shooting and warranty requirements.
- Read assembly specifications, such as charts, schematic diagrams, and manufacture recommendations, engineering specifications for trouble shoot, tests software updates and execute the field safety notice required from suppliers.
- Justified spare parts consumption and deal efficiently with 3rd parties Vendors.
- Maintain a good relationship with customers, identify new service contract opportunities and liaise with service contract team.
- Complete the service report accurately, noting time conformation, spare parts usage, task performed, action taken, delivering the detailed service report professionally to customers and upload it properly in C4C.
- Apply safety Rules and safe practice as well as environmental responsibilities, report unsafe practices and incidents.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or electronic engineering or biomedical technician
- 3–5 years of experience as a Biomedical Engineer or Technician in the field; Hospital based residency experience is a must.
- Strong experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and medical asset management software.
- Proven experience in providing technical service and support for critical care medical equipment within ICU and OT (Operating Theater) environments.
- Knowledge of electronic System (installation, configuration, implementation Troubleshooting).
- Ability to work independently and pro – actively.
- Effective communications and commercial awareness.
- Understanding of the service life cycle from requirements to deliver & Aware of biomedical safety standards.
- Configure and troubleshoot networked medical devices, ensuring proper integration with the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Valid driving license.
